  1. It’s hilarious how reactionary people are. Everyone was saying it’s the perfect match after Brentford, now the comments are full of people questioning why he even got the job, he’s probably somewhere in between, give the man a chance It’s been 2 games ffs.

  2. Everton needs stability, the club have dissociative identity disorder. So many different managers with different styles trying to impose their identity on the team having the players confused and not on the same train track. Hopefully they get some stability and time to drill a united time. Obviously injuries is a problem to but without continuity the team will never work in unison and never have a identity and always relay on individual talent

  3. Everton midfield disappeared after the 1st Newcastle goal. Ali & Van de Beek were show ponies when Everton need runners with a fighting spirit. Third goal was a loss of possession by Ali & later Van de beek failed to chase back & Murphy should have scored. A loss to Leeds & Everton could be in the bottom 3

  4. I don't think Lampard is necessarily a top manager yet but he will be. Everton's revival is almost certain for me. With the WC looming players like Van de beek, Alli, Calvert Lewin, Richarlison all these guys want a spot in the national teams and they gonna get them if only they avoid relegation and score lots of goals in that process.
