  1. I'm not a chelsea fan but I think the injury of both Reece James and Chilwell is very important when looking at why Lukaku has been in such poor form. Both Chillwell and James pretty much played as wingers and stretched the pitch constantly spamming chances for Lukaku and just made Chelsea's attack far more direct. With Alonso losing his pace and Azpi not necessarily being a RWB I feel chelsea lost the directness they once had and that is what has affected Lukaku. Having said that Lukaku himself has to do better its not always about him and if things arent going his way maybe he has to adjust his game temporarily.

  2. Chelsea look piss poor with him thats the reality. Add to the fact he doesnt work for the team and he literally thinks hes above Chelsea then its never going to work. Got to stop looking at it as a Β£100m transfer. Thats not how they work these days. Chelsea offloaded a lot of young talents for big cash in order to get this deal through. Its part of the modern game and a way of managing finances by holding onto a larger group of players

  3. I think we should just sell him at a loss. We play so much better with a false 9. Lukaku is awful! Has a terrible touch, makes terrible runs, and that interview was the last straw. If we play him against Liverpool on the weekend we are losing. The way Van Dijk and the rest of their defenders dealt with him last time fs.

  4. What makes me laugh is they’re talking tuchel should be backing lukaku like hav u forgotten that lukaku tried to throw him under the bus blaming him for his mistakes and Ever since that interview he’s played every single game and minute just to score in the CWC behave man

  5. They’re playing a type of football where they don’t need strikers, the attacks are coming from the wing and the two front players are players of speed. Which is why I think United should adopt this formation and play Rashford and sancho up front so they can press from the top. With shaw and Dalot doing the wing work and good enough CBS to control the back

  6. If that’s the case he needs to work hard for the team which he dose not he didn’t it for a few games and ran out of gas that’s not his game this one is on the board for wanting to bring him in a Tuchel approved because he we needed a striker we just end to getting the wrong one

  7. It's down to Tuchel – Lukaku had a good start, scoring goals, then got injured.

He gave an interview saying he came to Chelsea with an idea of how he would fit into their system but that the manager had other idea's & that he needed to work hard in training to change the way he plays & adapt to what the manager wanted & that he found it difficult at first but thing's were good now.

Tuchel didn't like the interview & very publicly dropped him.

Ever since Lukaku has looked like he's on his way out of the club & since that incident Chelsea have fallen out of the Premiership title race due to lack of goals.

Tuchel's poor man-management is to blame – Lukaku doesn't fit the way Tuchel wants Chelsea to play & the manager has shattered the players confidence.

They're best off selling him & buying a player the manager actually wants at the club, but knowing Chelsea Tuchel will be sacked soon anyway so doesn't really matter – Lukaku might get on better with the next manager.
